Temporary Luggage Storage Service Center
There is a temporary luggage storage service at the Honkawagoe Station Tourist Information Office.
They charge 500 yen per bag (including tax).
Their hours of operation are from 9:00 am until 1 hour before the closing time of the information desk.
The information desk closes at 6:00 pm from April to June, 7:00 pm from July to October, and 5:00 pm from November to March.
It is open 7 days a week.
Staff who can speak foreign languages are available.

It is less than a 1 minute walk from Honkawagoe Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line.
Exit the ticket gate, and in front of you, to the right, you will find the "Honkawagoe Tourist Information Office".

There are tea ceremonies and fairs (temple festivals) held all over that take place mainly on weekends.

Summer
Kawagoe Summer Festival of a Million Lights
Date: End of July
Location: Kawagoe Tourism area
The festival is said to have originated in the year 1850. It began from the hanging of lanterns on the eaves of people's houses. The lanterns were hung in reverence of the benevolence of the master of the castle. A lively parade stretches from Kawagoe Station to Ichiban Gai with numerous local merchants and shops open throughout the area.

Koedo Kawagoe Fireworks Display
Date: End of July ~ End of August
Location: Isanuma Park or Aina Water Park. The location differs year to year.
Every year the fireworks festival is full of spectators who have gathered to watch the display.
